Create an Engine Off Alert with Email Notifications

By configuring this Raven rule in your Geotab account, you can begin receiving alerts via email when a vehicle's engine turns off.

1. From the Geotab web app, click "Groups & Rules", then “Rules” from the left side menu.

2. At the top of the page, click “Add”.

3. Enter “Engine Off” in the “Name” field, then click the “Conditions” tab.

4. Click "More...", then "Ignition". Select "False" as the value, then click "Add".

5. Click the “Notifications” tab, then click “Add email”. Enter the desired email address, click “Add”, then click “Save” at the top of the page.
