Enhanced Video Access (EVA)
September 24, 2025
EVA provides an additional way to request any video in high definition available on the Raven device. The EVA tool allows users to visually select and download a clip around a segment of interest. Videos of up to a minute can be retrieved.
EVA can be accessed via the Trips History tab under Productivity for any footage available on the Raven device.
To request a video from the EVA feature, click the route at the time of interest and select "Request Video". Click and drag the blue slider along the timeline. Once you've identified the segment of interest, select the desired duration, click 'Request Video,' and choose from which camera you would like the video to be retrieved. Once the request is complete, the HD Video will be available in the 'Ready Videos' panel and will also be in the 'Exceptions' list labeled 'User Video Request' at the time the recording took place.

Bad Install Detection
September 24, 2025
Raven now features improved detection for improper mounting. If the device is mounted incorrectly and the orientation remains unchanged for 2.5 minutes, an event will be triggered. During this time, Raven will suppress notifications for harsh cornering, aggressive acceleration, and harsh braking, so as not to consume excessive amounts of data or send erroneous notifications.

Tailgating
September 24, 2025
Raven’s AI-Enabled Alerts now include Tailgating, Raven's first road-facing detection model. In addition to existing cabin-facing alerts like distraction and fatigue, Raven can now identify when a driver is following too closely at speed, enhancing fleet safety and driver awareness. Tailgating alerts appear in real time on the Raven screen and are logged for review in the Web App.
