Wi-Fi Hotspot

What it is

Raven’s Wi-Fi Hotspot enables the device to provide internet connectivity to any device while on the road. Use the hotspot feature to allow drivers and passengers to access websites and applications necessary to get the job done or provide enhanced service to passengers.

How it works

Raven’s Wi-Fi hotspot provides a direct internet connection for any Wi-Fi-enabled device in or around your vehicle. Just as with any Wi-Fi network, connect your devices using your selected network name and password. Raven’s Wi-Fi hotspot allows up to 10 devices to be connected at any given time.

Once configured, you can opt to automatically turn the hotspot on when you start the engine so that once you get going, it’s already running.

How to use it

From the web app

1. Click on the 'Settings' tab.
2. Scroll down to the 'Wi-Fi' drop-down and click to expand.
3. Toggle on to enable.
4. Enter a hotspot name and password for the Wi-Fi credentials.
5. Drivers and passengers will now be able to connect to Raven's Wi-Fi hotspot from their devices.

Share the network name and password with passengers so they can now enjoy connectivity along the drive.

Connect to Raven's Wi-Fi 

1. To connect to Wi-Fi on your devices, go to 'Settings', then tap 'Wi-Fi'.
2. Turn on Wi-Fi. Your device will then automatically search for available Wi-Fi networks.
3. Tap the Hotspot Name and Password set from the web app to connect.
